128ft Class 1933
This incredible yacht is a rare bred. The J Class has its roots in the oldest sporting race in the world, The America’s Cup. Reserved for a wealthy elite of yachtsmen, these boats were used to compete with the best sailing talents in races of the America's Cup. Velsheda is one of the original 6 J Class yachts -she was restored in 1996. During their first time in the States we helped with the refit of the master stateroom and main salon areas: Master headboard, bench seating area, pillows, sofa and built in seating areas. The most extraordinary piece-the gorgeous main salon sofa -was a feat in itself to remove from the boat as the cabin top was unbolted from the cabin house and removed through the deck and included six crew to carry. The palette chosen were traditional blues and European fabrics-all very beautiful and very much suited to their environment. We also worked with the crew to refit some other delivery items, covers, tablecoverings, and exterior deck items. No interiors photos available per owners request.
