Sunbrella Products:
Acrylic Sunbrella fabric is today’s elite outdoor fabric choice and is perfect for marine applications.  Sunbrella comes with a  three year warranty against fading.  Sunbrella is 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric with proper care and cleaning, you can expect excellent service from Sunbrella fabrics far beyond warranty periods.

Cleaning Sunbrella: One of the best ways to keep Sunbrella fabrics looking good and to delay the need for deep or vigorous cleanings is to hose off on a monthly basis with clear water.  This practice will help prevent dirt form becoming deeply imbedded in the fabric and eliminate the need for more frequent vigorous cleanings.  In most environments, a thorough cleaning will be needed every two to three years.
Because Sunbrella fabrics are woven they are also highly breathable, which is why they dry quickly with only air exposure.  It is also important to know that Sunbrella fabrics are treated with a fluorocarbon finish, which enhances water repellency.  This finish requires replenishment after vigorous cleaning. Sunbrella recommends a product called “303”-its a cleaner and protectant.  They can both be purchase at your local marine store.

Sunbrella fabrics have been tested and proven to provide up to 98% UV protection from the harmful effects of the sun depending on the depth of color.  Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics which have more depth of color.  This protective factor is inherent to the product and will not be reduced by usage and/or fabric exposure to the sun.

Boarding Mats:
Do not machine wash.  Mats may be cleaned with a mild household detergent and a sponge or scrub brush.

Teak Care and Protection:
One of Teak’s endearing qualities is its amazing resistance to rotting.  It can be left outside-untouched and untreated-for many years, its initial brownish colors slowly weathering and softening to a silvery grey which many people find attractive.
If you wish to remove the silver-grey appearance and natural day-to-day grime, wash with warm, soapy water using a brittle scrubbing brush or use a jet-wash, by far the quickest and easiest method, and this followed by thorough drying and gentle sanding with fine sandpaper (to smooth and raised grain) is the only maintenance required.  For those who prefer, weathered furniture can be restored using Teak cleaner.

Sheets:
Machine wash warm setting.  Wash dark color prints and solids separately and before using.  When using bleach follow bleach mfrs. instructions.  Tumble dry, remove at once and fold.

Sleeping Pillows:
Stain resistant, gently blot (do not rub) spills and stains.  Remove excess spills and stains immediately.  Machine wash warm, only non-chlorine bleach, when needed.  Tumble dry low heat, remove promptly.

Bedspreads/ Shams/ Decorative Pillows:
Dry Clean Only
