Sunbrella Products: Cleaning Sunbrella: One of the best ways to keep Sunbrella fabrics looking good and to delay the need for deep or vigorous cleanings is to hose off on a monthly basis with clear water. This practice will help prevent dirt form becoming deeply imbedded in the fabric and eliminate the need for more frequent vigorous cleanings. In most environments, a thorough cleaning will be needed every two to three years. Sunbrella fabrics have been tested and proven to provide up to 98% UV protection from the harmful effects of the sun depending on the depth of color. Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics which have more depth of color. This protective factor is inherent to the product and will not be reduced by usage and/or fabric exposure to the sun. |

Ultrasuede Products: Stain Removal: Ultrasuede is inherently stain restistant. Most stains can be removed with water and a mild detergent. When required (see below), use a mild cleaning fluid available at any local hardware store.

Teak Care and Protection: One of Teak’s endearing qualities is its amazing resistance to rotting. It can be left outside-untouched and untreated-for many years, its initial brownish colors slowly weathering and softening to a silvery grey which many people find attractive. If you wish to remove the silver-grey appearance and natural day-to-day grime, wash with warm, soapy water using a brittle scrubbing brush or use a jet-wash, by far the quickest and easiest method, and this followed by thorough drying and gentle sanding with fine sandpaper (to smooth and raised grain) is the only maintenance required. For those who prefer, weathered furniture can be restored using Teak cleaner. |
